Listed are bride, groom, date of marriage, county of marriage, name of minister or clerk and location at court house. These records number over 4200 thus far and range between the late 1800s and early 1900s. It should be noted, there are not records for every letter of the alphabet. About Vital Records in Mississippi
Birth & Death records begin 1912.
Marriage records begin officially in 1926 but there are various earlier years kept at the county level and each county is different in what years they kept marriage records.
Marriage Records between 1926 and 1938 are kept at the county level. You should write to the individual county to obtain a record during this time period.
Divorce records begin in 1926.
