GINNINGS, Samuel Jefferson Co B, 1st NC Infantry Enlisted 5-31-61 at Wake Co, NC.  Private, age 34, farmer.  Promoted in June 1861 to Commissary Sergeant.  POW 6-15-62 at Fair Oaks, VA.  Imprisoned at Fort Delaware, DE.  Exchanged in August 1862.  Promoted in December 1862 to Cutler.  Wounded by gunshot in right leg in May 1864 at Wilderness, VA.  In Hospital 11-17-65 with gunshot wound in right leg.  Transferred 1-1-65 to Kittrells.  Transferred 3-21-65 to Veteran Reserve Corps.  Detailed as a farmer on 4-1-65.

GIVENS, George A. Co F, 48th NC Infantry Enlisted 7-20-63 at Alexander Co, NC.  Private, age 18.  Surrendered 7-9-65 at Appomattox Court House, VA.
GLADDEN, E. C. Co F, 56th NC Infantry Enlisted 7-8-62 at Wake Co, NC.  Private, age 30, Millwright, resides Cleveland Co, NC.  Died of measles on 9-5-62 at Goldsboro, NC.
GLADSTONE, D. S. Co B, 30th NC Infantry Enlisted 7-11-63 at Wake Co, NC.  Private.  Discharged 4-26-64.
