SEITZ, George Louis Co F, 23rd NC Infantry Enlisted 3-1-62 at Catawba Co, NC.  Private.  Promoted 11-1-62 to Corporal.  Wounded 7-1-63 at Gettysburg, PA.  Hospitalized at Staunton, VA where he died 8-5-63 due to his wounds and erysipelas.
SEITZ, Julius Co F, 23rd NC Infantry Enlisted 6-6-61 at Catawba Co, NC.  Private, age 18.  Wounded in his right leg 7-1-62 at Malvern Hill, VA.  POW 5-12-64 at Spotsylvania Court House, VA.  Imprisoned at Point Lookout Prison, MD.  Transferred 8-13-64 to Elmira Prison, NY where he took the Oath of Allegiance in June 1865.
